Fully Functional and Cheap

I'm a film student/intern which means that i have access to some seriously good equipment. But for personal projects, I still stick to my awesome HV30, with all my mods and whatnot. Running accessories off of the HV30's body sap the power something fierce, and I have a run-and-gun approach to film making on my personal projects, so, of course, i need several batteries. I bought 3 of these batteries and they perform just as well as the actual Canon manufacture batteries. Which is all good until you take into account that they cost a fraction of the price, and then its awesome. Utterly awesome.
The only criticism i can make is that the battery sticks out a bit making the viewfinder on the HV30 a bit hard to use. But given the size of the body and the lack of any mount-ability that wasn't something i used often anyway.
So, if you like spending less than half of what you could for an equivalent piece of equipment; I recommend this without reservation.

This batter is a very powerful one, lasting 2.5 times longer than that come with my HV20. Impressive!
