Charged to maximum quickly, it came partially charged from BestBatt, it indicates on the monitor of the camera the state of charge, as per the Canon original. At 1900 mAh it has a little a little more capacity than the 1700mAh of the Canon product. I haven't had chance to try it out just yet so I cannot comment on it's functionality but so far all looks good.
